Back to S.W.A.K!

We went to SWAK again this weekend and got Knit Issue 2 by Jo Sharp. I LOVE it! I like just about every single pattern in the book! I'm going to start by making the Bolero, version 1, out of Cotton Classic DK. I'm making it in a nice pink color!

I can't wait to get started! It looks like tons of fun and it's a great pattern!

I also started knitting a pair of socks of Sea Wool. It's a really nice yarn but it
does snag a little bit. It feels great though!

Okay Loralie, I think after a few more washcloths you might be ready for "big girl" lace. Check out Vitorian Lace Today by Jane Sowerby. It will make you cry. To practice my lace, I bought that cheap peaches and cream cotton yarn at walmart for like 1.50 and a dishcloth leaflet with 15 patterns and made them all.

Ok! That sounds like a great idea! Thanks!
